Thanks for this update. Thinking of you often. I know you're about to start teaching, but if you ever want to go for a walk along the river or something let me know.

Originally it was a real newsletter, meant to help promote books, talk about publishing and literary things... but it quickly morphed.

thank you, for answering what could not be asked, for reminding me of all the times i walked with a dead flashlight and managed a path forward, for being. and if it’s not too personal, wishing you and your family love and strength, and look forward to the next time our paths cross.

So many times with a dead flashlight. I hear that. I'm going to start using that full picture in my own classes--it's really a better metaphor. When our paths cross I hope it's with a lot of light, otherwise, ouch!
